Welcome to FAU

FAU (the Association of Development Researchers in Denmark) was founded in 1982. The Association has the objectives to;

- Promote social science and other research about the third world
- Expand and strengthen the links between development researchers in social sciences, natural sciences and humanities
- Support dissemination of research results to a wider public.

FAU collaborates with other likeminded associations in Denmark, the Nordic Countries, Europe and globally.

The FAU Board unfortunately has to announce that the FAU seminar "A New Order for Development - State, Market and Both?" 12-14. April 2018 has been canceled. This is due to a low number of entries. Since many have expressed an interest in the seminar, FAU's board has chosen to postpone the seminar to week 35 (27.8-1.9.), where we hope that you still want to participate. We have also chosen to hold some of the planned presentations at Aarhus University on Thursday, April 12th and Friday, April 13th. More information on this will be available as soon as possible.

Støt opstarten af et nyt dansk udenrigspolitisk webmagasin

Vi oplever i stigende grad et behov for en ny journalistik platform, der vil give plads til global, grænseløs journalistik om steder, personer og emner, som bliver ignoreret eller overset af nyhedsmedierne – såvel danske som internationale. Store dele af verden får næsten ingen opmærksomhed, og det skaber vrangforestillinger om verdens tilstand og begrænser danskernes udsyn på et tidspunkt, hvor vi mere end nogensinde før er forbundet med resten af kloden. Derfor er der brug for et medie, der tør overraske, overrumple og udfordre dets brugere. Det vil vi med webmagasinet Korrespondenterne.
